Thanks again to Annagret for writing the instructions for us.

  • Cast on 7 stitches and distribute on 3 double-pointed needles, join in the round. Work chart A for 70 rounds, working the pattern repeat 7 times per round. In the rounds which are not charted, knit the knits and the single yarnovers, purl the purls, work 2 subsequent yarnovers 1 knit + 1 purl. Where the symbol “k4tog” appears above 4 purl stitches, work p4tog instead. Change to more double-pointed needles and/or circular needles as necessary.
  • After round 70, work chart C 7 times per round, starting with roundd 15 and ending with roundd 72.
  • Now add rounds 1-4 from chart D 6 times (i.e., a total of 24 rounds), repeating the pattern 112 times per round.
  • After that, work 4 rounds plain purl.
  • Now add 14 repeats of chart C per round, this time working all rounds 1-72.
  • Then again rounds 1-4 from chart D 6 times, followed by rounds 5 and 6 once each (i.e., a total of 26 rounds), working the pattern repeat 224 times per round.

Remember:

  • Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
  • I don't own the original pattern, but I do own my recharted version. So, please don't copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish them under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
  • Do not sell copies of these charts. If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
