Rosenkranz
Star-shaped table covering (75 cm in diameter) with a voile center. Materials: size 100 crochet thread and size 2 knitting needles. Cast on 852 stitches and join into a round. Knit four rounds. (You may want to knit the first four rounds flat, in stockinette stitch, and then join into a round before beginning the chart at round 5.) Note: The charts only show half the stitches. Knit the pattern from right to left, and then from left to right, before going to the next repeat. Also, the charts are large, so I have divided them into two charts, right and left. So, knit a row from the right-side chart, the continuation of that row from the left-side chart, and then knit both again in reverse. Knit all rounds not shown on the charts. Use a crochet hook to bind off in the last round, combining each group of stitches in a single crochet. The instructions don't tell how many stitches to chain between the groups, so chain as many as look good to you. Block the lace, starch and dry. Stitch the lace to a square of fabric (the pattern suggests voile) with tiny stitches and then trim away the excess fabric.

Remember:
- Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
- I don't own the original pattern, but I do own my recharted version. So, please don't copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish them under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
- Do not sell copies of these charts. If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
