Reseda
Size: 150 x 180 cm. Materials: 2.5mm needles, fine silk (not detailed).
Cast on 8 stitches and join into a round. Follow chart A. From rd3, 1 whole pattern repeat consists of the chart from right to left plus then that same chart from left to right. Rounds that are not on the chart are resting rounds, i.e. all stitches must be knit except for those double yarnovers (1k, 1p). Follow chart A and B in this manner. Continue until round 190, where you still work the chart right to left first, then left to right as mentioned above. From round 191, insert chart C after the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th repeat in order to form the corners. (E.g. for round 193 this means after chart B, work (yo, k, 2yo, k, yo from the yo of the 2nd (4th, 6th, 8th respectively) repeat. After round 300, crochet off, always gathering 4 sts into 1 single crochet, followed by chain 12.
Nupps:
This is the crochet version. For slippery yarns this method is safer that the knitted variant. Put the stitch in question onto a crochet, (yarnover, dive into the st 3 rows below and pull through)5x, yo again and pull through all the loops on the hook. Please don’t be confused as the text says literally “(pull through, yo)5x, then yo and pull through everything”. This will not work because of the 2 subsequent yarnovers. The version above has that corrected. Nupps have to be worked rather loosely and should be practiced beforehand to achieve an even appearance. Not every Niebling knitter is experienced with Estonian lace.

Remember:
- Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
- I don't own the original pattern, but I do own my recharted version. So, please don't copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish them under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
- Do not sell copies of these charts. If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
