Pfirsich
Size: 102cm square without fringe. Materials: 450g medium-weight matte yellow crochet rayon, size 2 mm knitting needles.
Cast on 8 stitches and join into a round. Repeat the pattern 8 times per round. Knit the rounds not shown on the charts. Starting with round 77, for the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th repeats, knit the part before the thick line once and the part bordered by the thick lines once. In the 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th pattern sets, to achieve the square shape, knit the section before the first thick line once, and to form the corner, knit the section bordered by thick lines twice side by side. Therefore, in the 77th round, instead of making a yarn over, you make two yarn overs at the points where the corners are to be formed. In the knit rounds, knit 1 from the double yarn overs.
After round 133, knit 5 rounds. In the first of these rounds, increase 1 stitch at each corner by purling 1 from the yarn over at the corner. Then work the edge of round 139 according to the chart B. In each pattern repetition, knit the section before the first thick line (i.e., only the yarn overs), then knit the section between the thick lines 6 times next to each other, and then knit the section after the second thick line once. This pattern repetition is worked 4 times in the round. From rounds 169-194, knit the section between the thick lines 7 times, first knit the section before the first thick line (i.e., only the yarn overs), then knit the section after the second thick line. In the first pattern repetition after each corner, knit the first 3 knit stitches from the 2nd stitch of the double yarn over.
From rounds 195 to 222, knit the pattern section before and after the section bordered by thick lines only once at each corner, and knit the section between the thick lines 8 times. In the last pattern repetition before the corner, knit the 3 knit stitches from the 1st stitch of the double yarn over. After round 222, cast off loosely. Make a fringe with 30cm long silk threads. The threads are pulled through every second edge stitch, two at a time, folded halfway together, and then pulled through the loop, twisted, and pulled through the ends again. At the corners, a fringe is added to each stitch.
