Size: 110 cm diameter. Material:175g fine white viscose/rayon, steel needles 4/0 and 6/0, i.e. matching yarn and needles. [Old German needle sizes.] Work rounds 1 to 104 on the 4/0 needles, from round 105 use size 6/0 needles.
Instructions: Using size 4/0 needles, cast on 8 stitches and work according to the chart A. Up to round148, the chart has to be worked 8 times per round. After each pattern row there is a resting row where all stitches are knit, just the double yarnovers have to be worked 1 purl, 1 knit. Following round 149, chart B is worked 16 times per round. From round 209 repeat the pattern 48 times per rd. After round 240 the stitches are bound off in crochet, gathering as many stitches as indicated in the last round into 1 single crochet each, working 12 chain stitches in between.
