MEZ 7012
Tablecloth or large doily, size approx. 88 cm in diameter. Materials: 10 g of size 50 crochet thread.
Flower motifs: Cast on 10 stitches and join into a round. Repeat chart A five times per round. In round 6 knit 7 stitches into the 3 adjacent yarnovers. After round 30, place all stitches onto stitch holders or waste thread. Repeat chart A until there are twelve flower motifs. Graft the flower motifs into a ring, grafting along one repeat on each motif, so that you have one repeat of each flower facing into the center of the ring and two repeats facing the outside of the ring.
Center: Pick up all the live stitches around the inner edge of the circle of flowers. Knit according to chart B, repeating the pattern 12 times per round. The pattern decreases toward the center until only 12 stitches remain. Draw the tail of the thread through all 12 stitches and tie tightly.
Border: Pick up all the live stitches around the outside of the flower motifs. Knit according to chart C, repeating the pattern 12 times per round. In round 6 of chart C knit 13 stitches into the 3 adjacent yarnovers. After round 20, crochet off the stitches, combining as many knit stitches together with 1 single crochet stitch as the numbers indicate, separated by 12 chain stitches.
