Kornrade 1443

Square tablecloth, approximately 102 cm x 102 cm. Materials: 350g of size 10 crochet thread, size 2.5 knitting needles and size 1.25 crochet hook. This was a difficult one to rechart, and so it might be a difficult one to knit. Let me know, please, if you find any errors! In many places certain stitches are repeated to form a motif, and those repeats are outlined in boxes of different colors. The key to the colors is on each chart. However, in a couple of places that just didn't work well, so instead I have outlined groups of stitches in gray and I have given the repeat for each row next to the stitches inside the gray outline. I hope that makes sense.

Cast on 8 stitches and join into a round. Knit in the round, repeating the pattern 4 times per round. On rounds 175 to 179, increase according to the chart. In round 180 (216 stitches per side), mark the corners. Knit the border according to the final chart. On each side repeat the motif from "a" to "b" 12 times and then repeat the stitches that are shown after "b". After round 202, cast off the stitches with a crochet hook: join groups of stitches with a single crochet, alternating 4 or 5 stitches per group, 5 times and 6 times. Chain 9 between groups. Block with 14 loops per side. Pin two loops together at each corner.

Remember:

  • Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
  • I don't own the original pattern, but I do own my recharted version. So, please don't copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish them under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
  • Do not sell copies of these charts. If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
