Fleurs en Dentelle

Follow the charts from bottom to top and from right to left. Knit the rounds not shown on the charts. Where there are double yarnovers, in the next round knit the first loop and purl the second loop. All stitches are shown as symbols; ignore empty squares with no symbols. Starch and block each doily and then let dry completely.

Fleurs en Dentelle Square

Square Doily, approximately 32cm x 32cm. Materials: Size 20 crochet thread and size 2 or 9/0 knitting needles. Cast on 4 stitches and join into a round. Repeat the pattern (Chart A) 4 times per round. After round 60, crochet together groups of stitches as shown in the last round. Chain 9 between groups.

Fleurs en Dentelle Hexagon

Round or oval doily, approximately 32 x 40 cm. This doily can be blocked as a round or as an oval shape. Materials: Size 20 crochet thread and size 2 or 9/0 knitting needles. Cast on 6 stitches and join into a round. Repeat the pattern (Chart B) 6 times per round. After round 62 move the stitch marker three stitches to the left, then crochet together groups of stitches as shown in the last round. Chain 9 between groups.

Fleurs en Dentelle Octagon

Large round doily, approximately 48 to 50 cm. in diameter. Materials: Size 20 crochet thread and size 2 or 9/0 knitting needles. Cast on 8 stitches and join into a round. Repeat the pattern 8 times in total per round. Knit the first 14 rounds of Chart B, then knit rounds 15 to 56 of Chart C. Finish by knitting rounds 37 to 62 of Chart B. Complete the doily as for the oval and square doilies.
