Blattranke
Large tablecloth, size 1.4 meters. Materials: 250g rayon for crochet, size 2 and 3 knitting needles (no indication of the size of crochet thread or whether the knitting needles are old German sizes or millimeters.)
Cast on 4 stitches and join into a round. Knit up to round 84, repeating the pattern 4 times per round. In rounds 85 to 182, repeat the pattern 12 times per round. In rounds 183 to 296, repeat the pattern 24 times per round. Start using the larger needles (size 3) from round 137. After round 296, crochet off the stitches, combining the number of stitches indicated in round 297 into one single crochet and chain 13 stitches between groups. Repeat until all stitches have been crocheted off. Block as desired.
