Doily, 53 to 66 cm across. Materials: 40 g crochet thread size 20, knitting needle size 2.5. Instructions: Cast on 8 stitches and join into a round. Repeat the pattern 8 times per round. From the 53rd round repeat the pattern 16 times and from the 87th round repeat the pattern 48 times. Knit all the intermediate rounds. NOTE: In the 54th round increase the 5 yarn overs to 12 stitches. This is the only even-numbered round shown on the chart. After round 96 bind off with a crochet hook. Decrease groups of stitches as shown in the last round, with a single crochet. Chain 12 between the decreases.
