Rechteckiges Deckchen aus Sechs Motiven
Rectangular mat with 6 squares and a border. Size 26 x 36 cm. The size can be changed by adding squares. Made with only two squares, the doily is about 15 x 26 cm. Material: 10g crochet thread size 100, size 1.5 mm knitting needles and size 0.6 mm crochet hook.
Cast on 12 stitches, join into a round and knit according to the chart, repeating the chart 4 times per round. After round 26 knit two rounds plain. Then knit 20 (to reach a corner), then crochet the stitches off. Gather 5 stitches into 1 single crochet and chain 12.
Join the next motif to the first one as you go, by connecting opposite chain stitch arcs with 1 single crochet after the 6th chain stitch. For the corners, gather 2 arcs in a single crochet to make an 8-petal flower where 4 motifs meet.
Once you have joined the 6 motifs, place the chain-stitch arcs onto a circular needle. Knit 5 stitches into each arc, 15 stitches into each corner arc. Work the border according to chart B. After round 11, crochet off gathering 6 stitches into 1 single crochet and chain 11. Repeat until all stitches have been crocheted off.
