Large round tablecloth, approximately 116 cm in diameter. Materials: 100 g crochet yarn size 40, knitting needles size 2.5 mm, one each of circular knitting needles size 2.5 mm (50 cm and 100 cm long), one crochet hook size 1.25 mm.

Cast on 8 stitches, join into a round, and knit according to the charts, repeating the pattern 8 times per round. Repeat the pattern repeat 16 times in rounds 67 to 100. From round 101 onwards, work the pattern repeat 32 times per round. Knit all rounds not shown on the charts.

    Note the following details:
  • Work round 29 and all pattern rounds up to round 37 the same as round 27.
  • Work rounds 39 to 48 the same as rounds 17 to 26.
  • Work round 49 and all subsequent pattern rounds up to round 65 the same as round 27.
  • After round 120, repeat rounds 111 to 120 two more times.
  • Then work rounds 141 to 156 according to the chart.
  • In round 144, pick up 12 stitches from the 5 adjacent yarn overs of round 143, alternating 1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch.
  • After round 156, cast off the stitches; the last round on the chart indicates how many stitches are to be worked together in one single crochet stitch. Chain 11 between groups of stitches.
