ERRATA: This is being test-knit by a few people, so I'll keep track of errors and other changes here and when they are all finished, I'll update the charts so they are correct.

Large square art-knit tablecloth “Viktoria-Aster.” Material: 550 g medium-weight raffia-colored crochet artificial silk, steel knitting needles no. 7/0.

Description: Cast on 8 stitches and knit the pattern 8 times in the round according to the chart. Following each pattern round, knit one round. Where there are double yarn overs, in the next round purl the first loop and knit the second loop. To make the work easier, mark the beginning of the round with a colored thread.

For the square shape: From round 173, the stitches between the thick green lines are knitted 2 times in a row in pattern sets 1, 3, 5 and 7. In the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th pattern set knit this part once.

After the 270th round, the stitches are crocheted off. Gather the number of stitches in each decrease with 1 single crochet, and chain 12 chain stitches after each decrease. For the 2nd round, single crochet one stitch into each loop and chain 14 between the single crochet stitches. Block according to the photo.

  • Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
  • I don't own the original pattern, but I do own my recharted version. So, please don't copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish them under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
  • Do not sell copies of these charts. If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
