Streublüte

Streublüte is a pretty doily, but I don't know who designed it. I searched Ravelry's database and found lots of similar motifs, but nothing exactly the same. Of course, with all those hundreds of thousands patterns listed on Ravelry, it's a bit of a needle in a haystack. The pattern I found is in French, and was in a file labeled Sabine Muller. That's about all I know about it. If any of you recognize it, please let me know! There's a mesh background around the central flower that uses the K2tog, 2yo, ssk hex mesh pattern common in Herbert Niebling patterns. That doesn't mean he designed it, though. It lacks the movement of Niebling patterns.

Cast on 8 stitches. Join in a round and begin following the chart.

    Notes:
  • Rnd 67: (Repeat the stitches inside the red border four times and knit the remaining stitches only once.) Repeat this 8 times around.
  • Rnd 69: (Repeat the stitches inside the blue border four times and knit the remaining stitches only once.) Repeat this 8 times around.
  • Rnd 71: Use a crochet hook to decrease as shown in the chart. Chain 13 between the decreases. Join the last ch13 to the first decrease to complete the round.

Remember:

  • Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
  • I don't own the original pattern, but I do own my recharted version. So, please don't copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish them under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
  • Do not sell copies of these charts. If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
