Deckchen mit Stoffmitte

Another obscure lace edging designed by Herbert Niebling. It is meant to be attached to a piece of linen batiste fabric. If you use the same needles and thread recommended by the pattern (size 100 crochet thread and size 1.5 needles) the open center of the lace edging will be about 22 cm across. You'll need a 25 cm square of fabric (but remember, the design is round, not square). I think you could use this pattern as a nice edging for many different items, not just cloth doilies. You can see a photo of the design here.

The instructions are on the chart. You can see a larger image if you right-click on the chart and choose "view image" or whatever similar thing your browser offers. Feel free to download the chart and, if you knit the lace, I'd love to see a photo on Ravelry. Let me know! You can contact me through Ravelry at Ramona French Designs.

Remember:

  • Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
  • I don't own the original pattern, but I do own my recharted version. So, please don't copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish them under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
  • Do not sell copies of these charts. If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
