Sechseckige Kissenplatte

Hexagonal design meant for a cushion cover, 38 cm in diameter. Material: fine thread, size 200; size 0/0 knitting needles; silk fabric and a pillow insert of appropriate size.

Instructions: Cast on 18 stitches and join into a round. Begin with chart A, repeating the pattern 6 times per round. Knit the rounds not shown on the charts. After the 22nd round, continue to chart B. After the 172 rounds, knit 4 more rounds then crochet off the final round: combine 5 knitting stitches with 1 single crochet and chain 12 after every single crochet. Make a cover for the pillow insert of silk fabric. Attach the lace hexagon to the front of the pillow with invisible stitches. For the ruffle, cut a strip that is about 12 cm wide and twice as long as the circumference of the pillow. Gather and sew to the pillow evenly distributing the gathers.
