Kirschblüten
This tablecloth or doily can be stretched almost square. Made from fine silk with no. 1.5 needles, it is 54 cm in diameter; made from medium-thick silk and with no. 2.5 needles it is approx. 108 cm. Cast on 8 stitches and repeat the chart 4 times in the round. All unmarked rounds are knitted. Where there are 2 adjacent yarn overs, on the next round knit the first loop and purl the second loop. In rounds 71-127 the stitches between the heavy blue lines are repeated 6 times next to each other. After around 135, decrease by crocheting 4 stitches together with one single crochet. Chain 12 between the decreases. When blocking pin two loops together, to form 2 adjacent triangles, repeating that around the entire cloth.
The charts below may seem confusing. The entire chart is a bit spread out, so I divided it into 8 charts. The easiest thing might be to print out all charts without changing the sizes, and tape them together to form one big chart. Ignore the red lines, they are just to help my eyes follow a line of stitches across the chart. The heavy blue lines surround a repeat, which will be easier to see when all the charts are taped together.
Lay out the charts this way:
Remember:
- Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
- I don't own the original pattern, but I do own my recharted version. So, please don't copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish them under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
- Do not sell copies of these charts. If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
