Heckenrose
Heckenrose is a pretty little doily I added to Ravelry's Niebling database. It hadn't been listed there before, although other patterns from the same magazine were there. Then I hunted in my books and magazines and online, but couldn't find a reprint. So I charted my own, since reading those old charts can be a bit difficult. I fixed an error, did quite a bit of reading about the difference between Noppen and Nupps, and decided this is the next doily I'm going to knit, right after FDA 565.
Cast on 8 stitches and join into a round. Follow the chart, repeating each line 8 times in the round. Knit the even rounds (not shown in the chart). Note that there are nupps in Round 23. After Round 52, decrease with a crochet hook as shown in Round 53, chaining 12 stitches between the decreases. Join the last chain to the first decrease, weave in ends and block.
Remember:
- Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
- Do not copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
- Do not sell copies of these charts. HN was an artist. Let's share his works, eh? If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
