Goldmohn
This is quite a project. It took me quite a while and a lot of cross-checking to get the charts done, and it will take a lot longer than that to knit. But it's a worthwhile project, a very pretty tablecloth. You can see several projects using this pattern in the Ravelry database.
Approximately 170 cm in diameter. Material: approx. 1000 g silk thread, size 2.5 mm double-pointed knitting needles, circular knitting needles 60, 100, 150 and 250 cm long, 1 crochet hook size 1.75.
Instructions: Cast on 8 stitches and form a round on 4 needles. Beginning with chart A, repeat the pattern 8 times per round. In the intermediate rounds knit the stitches as they appear, and knit the YOs. Use the longer circular needles as the number of stitches increases. From round 225 repeat the pattern 24 times per round. After the 312th round, bind off with a crochet hook, decreasing according to round 313 and chaining 12 stitches between decreases.
Remember:
- Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
- I don't own the original pattern, but I do own my recharted version. So, please don't copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish them under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
- Do not sell copies of these charts. If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
