Elise
Elise was published in Mallin Kunststricken 404 in both an oval and a round version. It is credited to "Linda und Herbert Niebling" early in their career. The instructions for the oval version are given on Elise Chart C along with a schematic to show how it is completed. To make the round doily, cast on 8 stitches and join into a round. Follow Chart A repeating it 8 times per round. Skip Chart B and go on to Chart C, which is the border for both doilies. For the round doily, repeat Chart C 8 times per round. Bind off with a crochet hook, decreasing as shown in Round 63. Chain 10 to 12 stitches between decreases, as you prefer. For the oval doily, follow the instructions on Chart C.
Right-click on the chart and choose "view image" or whatever choice your browser offers, to see a larger image.
Remember:
- Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
- I don't own the original pattern, but I do own my recharted version. So, please don't copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish them under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
- Do not sell copies of these charts. If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
