Deckchen

This is a set of three doilies, with that attractive oak leaf pattern that you see in many Niebling patterns. I have several versions of these patterns. The patterns calls for 10 g of crochet thread varying from size 20 to size 60, and knitting needles varying in size from size 1.5 mm to 2.25 mm, plus similar size crochet hooks.

Ovales Deckchen

Pretty doily, measuring 27x36 cm. Cast on 12 stitches, join into a round, repeat the pattern 6 times in the round following the chart. From the 37th round, work the heavily bordered part in the 1st and 4th repeats twice side by side. After the 66th round, decrease with a crochet hook as shown on the chart, and chain 10 between decreases.

Quadratisches Deckchen

Square doily measuring 21x21 cm. Cast on 8 stitches, join into a round, repeat the pattern 4 times per round according to the chart. From the 37th round, knit the heavily bordered part twice side by side. After the 60 round, decrease with a crochet hook as shown on the chart, and chain 10 between decreases.

Sechseckiges Deckchen

This is a six-sided doily measuring 29 cm. Cast on 12 stitches, join into a round, knit the pattern 6 times in the round. From round 37, knit the stitches inside the dark line twice in each repeat. After the 56 round, decrease with a crochet hook as shown on the chart, and chain 10 between decreases.

Remember:

  • Feel free to download and use the charts, print copies for your own use. However, you may not print them out and share them with others. Send folks to my website so they can download for themselves.
  • I don't own the original pattern, but I do own my recharted version. So, please don't copy my charts and claim them as your own or publish them under your name. If you want to have your own charts, then find the original patterns and rechart them yourself!
  • Do not sell copies of these charts. If I don't charge for my recharts, you certainly shouldn't charge for my recharts!
